i am a new XOOPS user ,
i was wondering if there is any theme that make my interface is all flash ?? if yes then where to find it and how to do it ?

there's only 1 site and person i know of that develops flash themes for xoops. and from what i have seen he does a good job with them too and provides custom work to suit your needs.

I can say its good attempt "upstatetemplates.com" needs a lot of improvement to really show the power of flash

I would like to add: wrong looks, wrong principle (registration first), wrong use of flash.

hmm while your opinions are valid, the same can apply to css and html themes tho.. so just because he isn't showing the full power of flash on his pages doesn't mean he can't do it.. if he wanted to show the full and total power of flash on his website, then lol every1 would practically need a T1 or equivalent connection to be able to use it properly..

Flash sites have to be weighed up against looks, functionality and speed.. the better the flash design and more powerful the flash becomes, the slower the site will be to those with slowish computers and connections.. that's a web designers ultimate choice as to whether he wants a lightning fast site or a fairly fast or fairly slow site whatever.. it has to be balanced somewhere or something has to give..

i'm not here to argue the fact he has made his site registration only, i guess he has his reasons for that.. and i know he caters for a select minority and not the general population of computer users..

but as far as flash themes go, upstatetemplates is the only site i know of that does flash themes for xoops..

they do custom work to your own needs, so they can design a flash site to suit your design if need be..

they both not full flash but there look is good
also the ultrashock is using flash in some parts , but looks better!!

did that site make any other pages so i can visit and gudge?
