Hi. Just joined today. What a great portal.

Just a few questions:-

1. Can this be integrated with IPB v2?

2. I already have a forum set up that I want to attach, how do I add "forum" heading to the modules section with a direct link to my current forum?

The best thing in my opinion is to convert the forum you're using right now to a XOOPS one. To get the best support and security.

the resident ipb expert is http://www.bbpixel.com/ He has successfully ported several versions of IPB to work within XOOPS, I'd recommend checking out his site for a conversion script.

There is, however, some licensing problems with getting v2 of IPB on xoops. IPB1.3 is available though.

Plus honestly, you should look at converting to Newbb2. It has all the right features and you don't need to mess with Core files.

Thanks for your help. I bought license for IPB before I knew about XOOPS so not keen to change from that forum now, especially as I have changed it around a lot to get what I want on there.

Will check out that site ty.
