Any good resources on haxing a theme?

I have found a nice theme that I want to use. The thing is I don't want any of the comunity stuff to show up ( i.e. login, coments on articles ect.... ) I understand that I will need to hax the theme and/or the moduals that have these type of features.

My question is, are there any good beginner guides to this? If not, where should I begin to look for this information so I can compile a guide for future users?

I have decided to use the 7dana-jane theme:

I am mainly trying to learn how to edit Xoops, the theme, module or whatever it is I have to edit to get out all of the community features.

I have decided to use TinyContent-Duplicatable for all of the different pages of my web site.

If you want to hack the CSS file, WIKI has an excellent commented defaultThemeCSS

http://wiki.xoops.org/wakka.php?wakka=DefaultThemeCSS

As of "login, coments on articles ect..", those are related to block placement and modules hack, you would have to modify individually.

A guide to themes will be out on the docs site soon. Its actually finished, I think they are just marking it up at the moment.
