A friend and I edit the same site and on occasion we overwrite each others xoops_version.php.

It would be great to be able to edit that with in the site so we always new we were editing the most current version.

what's the reason for editing xoops_version.php all the time?

and which xoops_version.php file u editing as every module has this file, so allowing editing in XOOPS admin itself is not an option really..

maybe u shud communicate more with your friend and find out what he's edited etc.. and download the xoops_version from the server b4 u edit and upload yours.. that way u have the current version..

still not sure why u are editing xoops_version all the time tho..
