hell! ok Im new, but it happens quite rarely that i take so much time to understand the admin interface itself. frankly speaking... i do not like that hover window containing stuff. is there an alternative admin interface around?

2.0.x does not have a different interface available, but one of our goals for 2.1/2.2 development is to redesign the admin interface and make it templated, so users can brand their site administration, change the look to suit their needs, etc.

You'll find that by clicking on most module icons in the admin section, you can perform many, if not all of the tasks that display in the hover window.
