How I can remove this footer text in news?

"The comments are owned by the poster. We aren't responsible for their content."

I don't want to get this text because I am the webmaster for the website.

Please help me

Go to admin, system, theme. Find the template that is used to display the news articles, and remove the tag there. I believe it's called news_article.html. But I'm not sure. Once you removed the tag, you won't see this text on your page anymore.

You can also modify the language files. Find the quote in the language file and make it a different text.

I cannot find this tag anywhere! I have done a search on every XOOPS file and this text is not found. I really need to get rid of it.

modify /modules/news/templates/news_article.html and remove the words:
<{$lang_notice}>


This should be near the bottom. Once done, update your news module in System -> Modules.
