the stats is not recording the visitors, I'm not getting any images. I'm running win xp and foxserv.

Yes. all the text is there but just get the little red x where the images should be. I've also got a couple of friends to log on but it dosen't record that they have been there.

Sounds wierd... All i can say is that it records visits fine with me.

May i ask what you are running. maybe it could be the foxserv setup. I will try anything.

edit the php.ini and enable the gd library!!!


change
;extension=php_gd.dll

by

extension=php_gd.dll

I have enabled php_gd.dll but am still getting the same results

Is PNG support enabled on your server?
And what is the GD version of your server?

OK,

Enthusiastically downloaded XOOPS after waiting forever! But the damn thing won't install

I'm trying it out on my local system - Win 2000 Pro (SP2) and IIS 5. Followed the installation instructions, edited config.php, changed main.php as requested then get this message :-

Your root path: C:\Inetpub\Xoops\html
If the above setting is correct, press the button below to continue.
(This will not start creating tables yet)

I press the Next button and the same page is displayed again No matter how many times I press NEXT nothing happens!

Any ideas why this is happening? (Probably too many beers and prawns for New Year on my part!)
