Attempted to install 2 new modules and they don't even show up for loading. Have looked at previous discussions on what to do. They have not helped. Have installed those same modules as a test locally and they show up fine. So something is wrong with my working site. Using latest stable version of XOOPS (not the alpha). Have reset the system module. Changed templates to default and back to cloned. Have not turned off existing modules for fear that they will no-longer be usable. Need some direction here.

Need multiple instances of paypal donations with different categories would also like to remove "list me as a donor verbage form the form. How can I do this? I could build a form with another product and add the paypal button but I wanted to stay within the confines of xoops.

Never mind fixed it. sometimes I can be so dumb! It seems you must put information in the option fields when creating a check off field.

Cloned an existing form and started to add some elements to the new form saving and check various times. At some random point, after creating an element from scratch or cloning an existing element, after saving form,form will not display. I get a white page. Not a broblem at the beginning but ends up blank. Anyplace I can fix this? Using Liaise 1.26 and xoops2.018.

Trying to use the paypal donation module for a political campaign for a friend of mine. Have run into a problem because I am unable to add any custom fields. I am not very good with php or database applications. this is what the finance man gave me:

"It is absolutely important that information be collected on the website and warehoused in a local database.
The data from the site should then auto-populate PayPal. Alex and I discussed this on Friday.

The website must collect the name, address, phone, email and contribution amount as well as the employer and title/position of the contributor.

The website must require the contributors confirm (via 2 checkboxes) if : 1) They are qualified to contribute (e.g. a US Citizen and 18 years or older, etcetera). And, 2) they funds are not from a corporations or on behalf of another person/entity. I can provide the text that the contributors must agree to before contributing to the campaign.

In lieu of a digital signature, the website must collect the IP address from which the contribution was made and the date and time of the donation.

Please create a simple interface so that I can collect this information and store it in our donor database.

....as you can see it could be quite involved. I could use
Liaise to build the form easy and save to the database but how do I also incorporate the paypal button to donate?

Can anyone point me in the right direction, suggestions or offer help in customizing the donate module or Liaise

"Donation meter" and "List me as a Benefactor" does not seem to work. Treasury financial record does not pull IPN information.
Transactions do work though.
How do I get these other functions to work?

Would have loved to be able to customize it more too but lets get functionality right first.

I just used myiframe modules and embedded the links to the appropriate pages. In fact I used 3 as long as you rename them before uploading. 1 has subscribe page.2 has unsubscribe page. 3 has admin login. Then used multimenu to display links on page. works great. I then spent a little time making phplist blend into the web site.

This has been going on for a while no matter what update I install. Am at current update. I have removed all template-c files except index as someone previously suggested and regenerated the template files. I have updated all modules including system. I have un-installed and re-installed offending modules only. I've been afraid to turn off modules that are frequently used for fear they also will not show up. I can still administer the offending modules by clicking on their installation icons, so they are still able to be used but that is a pain in the butt. Any suggestions? The modules that won't mount are : anything new that I try to install now as well as Liaise, extcalendar, contact us, forum, so far. Would like to install protector and paypal donations but have hesitated.

Figured out what is wrong with my theme. It is the theme itself. When choosing the default theme from the new install everything lines up perfectly. Now I have to replace blue-lagoon theme and it's a shame cause everybody loves it.
Need a theme appropriate for a swimm team.
