Marcello (the author of Yogurt) doesn't have the time to contribute, so Yogurt is kind of open for changes/enhancements. I would suggest to team up with urbanspacema and Alfred from XOOPS Germany and see how could you work with them on these changes. Of course, if it is possible.

Alfred from XOOPS Germany has already something at work:

He is basically incorporating Yogurt functionality into Extended Profile. No code yet available for download...

By using Inforapid Search and Replace, I found:

Register Now:
Pmsg.php in \Language\English\
Main.php in \Modules\Pm\Language\English\
Blocks.php in \Modules\System\Language\English\

Lost Password?
Blocks.php in \Modules\System\Language\English\

I guess, you have to have a local language version of the "blocks.php" file, and change the words there.

I don't know the internal database dependencies, so maybe somebody else can help you with that.

But before you do that, I would suggest to re-upload the Forums files and run update of the module.

BTW - what Forums Module are you using?

You my try to use phpMyAdmin to run "Repair Tables" and see if this will fix it.

Did you turn on also the debugger? If yes, does it say anything?

since the name is changed, it's less important. The problem is when somebody could go to your Website and type:
http://yoursite.com/install
then they could take over your site by changing admin access. Once the directory is changed to a random name, then it shouldn't be a problem. But it's always better to delete the /install directory.

I don't think that the current license allows that. The best way is to contact the author for permission.

But I think, the best way would be to just work on improvements of the current "yogurt". The quality of the module will drive its acceptance, not the name itself.
