Found a content module that says "content" instead of info. Installed that and can now post content. but still the package content module (in module packs) that says "info" does not properly install. It's a shame as it seemed to have more features. Will wait for a reply but I am currently content (no pun intended) enough cause I can add content to the site. Forget this last comment as when trying to call the fckeditor it fails so no posting so far.

This is my error code:
This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

installed personal pack modules, did not update xoopseditors, "Info" module only displays the "preferences" page in admin. No other page shows up. Permissions are correct. Installation does produce a link on the home page but no info can be produced. New install of 2.3.3. Any suggestions? I didn't install the xoopseditor folder as I thought the new install wold have the latest. If this module just doesn't work with 2.3.3 yet can anyone elso suggest a static page module that will?

This is not my first XOOPS install but i have no installations above 2.16 at the moment.
Followed instructions including using mainfile.dist.protector and changing it to mainfile.dist.php. Cannot put xoops_lib or xoops_data outside of root so I renamed them but even naming them back to the original names installation stops at "Could not copy the distribution to mainfile.php". This is the error message I get. Tried chimod 777 "mainfile" to make writing easier but it just stops there. What have I missed doing?

Fixed everything. Module problem seemed to be incomplete module upload. Simple as that.

Fixed problem with mainfile.php, protector and message but new modules still not showing up in module admin. I can un-install and existing module and it shows up at the bottom but nothing new shows up when uploaded.

If I add that to my mainfile.php I get all blank pages. And when I remove it I still get a blank page. The only way to get the pages visible is to replace mainfile.php with a saved unaltered mailfile.php page. Wierd!

Also new modules are not showing up when installed now. Am still on latest 2.18 Tried uploading extgallery-nothing shows. I do have protector installed but not sure it is configured correctly. Tried to add the text that protector suggested in the mainfile.php and got a blank page afterword. I know, too many problems in one post. I hope they are all related.

I cannot duplicate her problem. Everything works fine for me when logged in as admin. I'm on a mac. She, on the otherhand, is running windows. She is not talented enough to do a screen shot to send to me. I am just taking her word for it. Running debug would not do any good for me as I see no problems from my computer. I looked for a more detailed explanation of sessions in the wikki but found only the basic of information. If there is a way I can hard code the default session time to greater than 15 min I can bypass all the custom session stuff.
