Oh and looking at my DB table for visibility it only allows groups 1 2 3 to view profile info, not other usergroups

Having a strange one here

Two seperate new builds of 2.5 both give same issue

When trying to set permissions for user profile when selecting visibility option I am met with a blank page

and using debug the following
Quote:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function loadmoduleadminmenu() in D:\*************************\modules\profile\admin\visibility.php on line 23
None All Errors (2) Deprecated (0) Queries (20) Blocks (0) Extra (2) Timers(5)
Errors
Notice: Undefined variable: current in file /modules/system/class/gui.php line 128
Notice: Undefined index: in file /modules/system/class/menu.php line 139

I have tried updateing module both before and after updating system module and tried differing frontend and backend themes

anyone have similar?

Should the all pages be all system pages? and all types be all pages?

Just a thought!

It's cleaner under firefox than windows - windows puts the red X ina box for an image not found, firefox puts a blank tile up - so not so much a distraction.

System options display blank lines but sticks number of that item say 64 smileys for instance. Where in this case smileys, are not an option for this person to be concerned about.

If screenshots are needed I can host them externally no worries

Bit of an odd one

On the older versions 2.4.5, 2.4.4 etc the following worked as expected.

When setting admin accessiblilty for a limited number of options, for my site admin and moderators all that were shown under admin were those particular modules and options.

Under 2.5 I get blank boxes where the parts that are not supposed to be visible to them are. Under 2.4.5 the screen is simply tidied and sorted correctly to show a restricted set of options etc.

It is almost there are place holders for those modules? if that makes any sense.

It seems to primarily be the system options all other subsequent modules and their prefs etc seem to work as normal - this has been tried under all three admin styles

Default
Legacy
zetadigme

This is me accessing at work under ie7 at the moment

I can provide screenshots later when I get home if that'll help?

Apart from the example config text within the lib folder is there any guide to installing this and getting it to function correctly?

If I allow anonymous group to access chat - it comes up with the Ajax logo on the chat window but needs you to login.

If I set it up only visible to myself as webmaster when logged in and accessing it I get
an error

would database name in the format nnn-nnnn222. cause issues with ajaxchat module?

Query: SELECT userID, userName, userRole, channel, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(dateTime) AS timeStamp, ip FROM nnn-nnnn222.ajax_chat_online ORDER BY userName; Error-Report: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-nnnn222.ajax_chat_online ORDER BY userName' at line 9 Error-Code: 1064

When using debug

it causes 2 errors

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in file /modules/chat/ajaxchat/lib/class/CustomAJAXChat.php line 146

Notice: Use of undefined constant ANONYMOUS - assumed 'ANONYMOUS' in file /modules/chat/ajaxchat/lib/class/CustomAJAXChat.php line 146

Code it points to is

// Auto-login phpBB users:
if(!$this->getRequestVar('logout') && ($user->data['user_id'] != ANONYMOUS)) {
$this->setRequestVar('login', true);
}

I am a little confused

I have not modified any other files apart from the config.php file - it does have the correct database user names etc applied.

Any pointers from those with a working installation would be welcome, especially if you can remember having to modify any lines of code

this is version 0.83
System Overview

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.4.4
PHP Version 5.2.13
mySQL Version 5.1.48-community

function writeName(){
echo
"John Smith" ;
}

it works on here, I assume this site uses 2.4.5?

If so maybe it is caused by the theme you are using?

probably talking gibberish but just thinking out loud.
