Thx

I think the next upgrade of XOOPS should come with a "shaking knees" smily . I respect you both, and I appreciate your time in encouraging me to upgrade. I will try it; I hope I don't mess things up!

Im using XOOPS 2.0.5 on a Red Hat Linux box.

I have solved the problem just replacing the XOOPS 2.0.5 install_tpl.php file with the previus XOOPS 2.0.4 install_tpl.php file.

Now everything works like a charm.

In Xoopsgallery, we can set individual access for each album. However, if I enable the random picture, it won't recognize the access right before displaying the picture. I think this is a bug ?

Also, if someone is working on a fix, then I would recommend adding group access option for each album or pictures. In the current 1.3.3 release, we have to individually set the access right.

Great! I'll have a look at the hacks.

Thanks for replying!

I also think that XOOPS should sort.
You can try this hack.
admin icon is sorted under the weight of a module

modulesadmin icon is sorted under the weight of a module

but yet, there is no "admin control panel sort hack".

Hi chapi,

I owe you a big thank you! The adminmenu.php file is generated server side so that's why I couldn't find a way to change the sort order of the modules menu in admin.

Anyway, you put me on the right track and after some tweaking I was able to change the order to my preferences. I think this feature should be available in the admin section, because I believe a lot of xoopsers can benefit from it. Maybe for a next release?

Thanks for the tip, chapi!

You can change the order in /cache/adminmenu.php

There are 3 settings for every the module:

$xoops_admin_menu_ml[1]
$xoops_admin_menu_sd[1]
$xoops_admin_menu_ft[1]

The number in [x] is for the module order in the adminmenu.

Example:
If you have only installed the news module, the system admin number is [1] and the news module number is [2]. Now you can change this numbers and the module icons in the administration will change its position.

I don't know what happens, when you update a module. Maybe it changes the order back again. But possibly it helps at the moment.
