XOOPS FAQ - User menu - How do I use the notification feature? How is the notifications can be set by a user or administrator?

Go to 'edit my account' in your user profile (click on your username to open your profile)

Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and look for:

" Notification Method: When you monitor e.g. a forum, how would you like to receive notifications of updates?"

From the pop-up menu, you can choose:
"Email (use address in my profile)"
"Private Message"
"Temporarily Disable"

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Save Changes"

You're done!

What are breadcrumbs? I did a search and someone (I think solio) posted a small defintion which is fine. But what are they really in relation to xoops, how used, what real purpose (advantage and or disadvantage) do they have? Are they necessary, a good idea to actually use them with xoops? Why or why not?
