- Version 2.1 smarty templates included
- Counter block with configurable options:
- number of graphical numbers to display
- directory to use for graphics
- avatar member to show or not
- Web stats block now include option:
- selectable date format (FR or US)
- Istats module has now an admin section:
- Preferences:
- selectable date format (FR or US)
- you can choose the number of 'requested pages' to display
- you can choose the number of 'hostnames' to display
- you can choose the number of 'referers' to display
- Cookie:
- you can define your cookie's lifetime duration
Warning: the option use a specific file (config.php in the cache directory).
Don't forget to chmod the cache directory to 777 and the config.php file to 666.
P3P compact policy is included in the counter.php file with Janmetpet's string.

"Pretty good module" I installed the module and it works fine. As most webstat proggies do, the module uses a javascript generated image to get the counts. This is done by adding some javascript in every site page. Somehow my footer in the general xoops preferences didnt work so i added the javascript code in the footer of my theme. You find the code in the included help doc (which is strangely named: "old manual") Tip: when adding that javascript code, make sure you modify it to reflect the correct path to the config.php file. The manual instructs you to use the path in the xoops-cache folder. But if you dont use the caching feature, point it to the file in the istat-module folder itself. |

"If you need Web Stats - This is the one" I have this installed on my website, and I have to admit, it is very easy to install and use, it is very well formatted and most of all is functional. The theme I use does not always take so well to new modules but the I-Stats module fits right in. As a web hosting provider I WILL be recommending this to all of my clients. |

"wow" I just installed istats and am very impressed. The installation was easy and using it is even easier. I would recommend this to anyone using xoops and looking for web statistic analysis. |

"Requires theme modification" This module requires modification of themes in order to make it work. Some of us aren't programmers and don't ever care to be programmers.
