Countdown
This module allows registered users to create countdowns for themselves. After adding a countdown, you can view all of the countdowns in a list, and see how much time is remaining until the countdown is expired.

"Definately a start" But in my opinion it's lacking an admin ui, the possibility of only admins making countdowns, and a block to view them in. |
