We've created a MMS interface into the XOOPS portal. Currently this is tested with the MMS messages from T-Mobile in Holland, and succesfull tests have been done with MMS messages from Vodafone (this will be implemented shortly). You can post messages to XOOPS by sending the MMS to a specific email adres. The interface will then upload the MMS to XOOPS. You can test this by sending an MMS to rogier@fotomobiel.nl and check the result at http://portal.tequila.fortytwo.nl/ .
i´ve just updated a new theme for http://www.xoopsfactory.de. I´m actually testing this theme on different browsers etc. would you please be so kind to help me ?
this theme is for the community and will come for download in september, when all tests are done.
xoopsfactory is a service for commercial sites who want their own individual theme and template. But there will come some downloads for the community. this is my "saying thanks" for the great service in xoops-communities.
I just finished my work on version 1.3 of TinyContent for Xoops 2.0.x. TinyContent is a simple content module, where you can create content with the xoops built-in editor. Also you can add html files with the PageWrap function.
* added comments feature * comments can be activated/deactived for every article * enhanced the PageWrap feature (upload/delete files through administration) * fixed minor bugs
For the ability to turn on/off comments on every article, I had to change the database a little. So current v1.2 users can't simply overwrite the existing files. There is also no update script at the moment, sorry.
If anybody translates this module into another language please contact me or send me the language files. I would be happy to include it into the package.
1) Will (open-source) content management systems help cut down on the large amounts of data being sent back and forth between workers/collaborators?
2) Will these largely iso-8859-1 / Western-centric systems be able to cater better to non-Western end-users -- or will end users choose local grassroots initiatives (when such alternatives exist)?
I've just finish fist beta from my module - C-HTML for include html pages into xoops theme.
It's very simple to work:
just download your html into ../modules/c-html/ directory & go to yourdomain/modules/c-html/?your.html (very nice url - only in my module ) You may create sub-directory. That's all!
