Hi,
The definitive and official version of the news module is out. This version, 1.2.1, can be used on a production's site.
It's an intermediary "bug fix" release which addresses several issues reported since the version 1.2. We recommand to all the users of the 1.2 version to update to this release.

Please note that you can now refer to a FAQ (for this moment only in english)

Australian Passion Network
When Mel Gibson's movie launched in February in Australia, http://www.thepassion.org.au was there to help promote the movie and the story of Jesus more fully, to all who were interested in knowing more.
We worked with the Australian Bible Society to produce the site, in conjuction with movie theatre advertisements promoting the site, special editions of the Bible (also linking to the site), etc.
By the time the movie launched on Feb 25, we had over 1000 members.
You'll see in the downloads section that we've been hit pretty hard with requests for some decent-sized files! It's been fun.
With the move no longer in the cinemas, traffic has substantially dropped off, but we're looking at opportunities to promote sales of the DVD, and it's use in church outreach activities.
Just wanted my XOOPS friends to know about us.
Any constructive criticism is welcome.

XOOPS Multilanguages 1.4.2
With the release of XOOPS 2.0.7.3, I repackaged XOOPS Multilanguages and give you an updated version that will work on XOOPS 2.0.7.3.
You can download this package here : XOOPS Multilanguages 1.4.2
As I did with version 1.4.1, I created in the package a folder called XOOPS_2.0.7.3_ ML_1.4.2. This folder contains the files changed from XOOPS 2.0.7 to XOOPS 2.0.7.3, merged with XOOPS Multilanguages. So, if you are upgrading form a previous version of XOOPS Multilanguages, you can copy the content of this folder at the root of your XOOPS site.
As usual, please carefully read the ReadMe file as it is REALLY IMPORTANT. XOOPS multilanguages is not intended to everyone. It is a sever hack of XOOPS. Please handle it with care.

XOOPS 2.0.7.3 released!
XOOPS Team is pleased to announce the release of XOOPS 2.0.7.3. It includes a fix for a security bug that allowed hijacking of session variables in a certain circumstance, even with 2.0.7.2. It is strongly recommended that all users using any of the previous versions of XOOPS including 2.0.7.2 upgrade to this latest version.

With the merger of European Shoutcast Network and Shout2xs, EuroCast is born.
EuroCast is a European shoutcasting station, bringing news, reports, shoutcasts and video streams from European Tribes competitions, expanding into other competition-filled games as well.
The new station needed a new site and XOOPS was chosen as the platform to build on. A custom-built module for managing events as well as News, Soapbox and Newbb 2 beta 3 bring the content to the visitor.

Agenda-X 2.2.0 is released
Agenda-X 2.2.0 is released, this version integrates several changes in Minical block and module settings. Parameters formerly in config file can now be controlable via Xoops standard administration panel.
