YAXS: webmaster-universe goes live

Thanks to everyones favorite CMS, XOOPS, webmaster-universe has now gone live!

With webmaster resources, a link directory, articles, challenges and forums all with the access for user submitions, webmaster-universe shall build up one of the most comprehensive webmaster references online.

Thanks for the great CMS and hope to see people around!

Things are looking a bit empty up there at the moment, but wait till the questions and answers start coming! I'm going to post your site on the "Community Websites" section of the XOOPS Documentation site. Hope it drives some traffic your way. This will be a great resource all round.

Your're welcome, I reckon your site deserves some good traffic. I know from experience that the hardest time is getting a forum launched. All those empty rooms and nothing going on.

Here are some ideas that yolu may already be aware of.

1- Get all your friends/ collegues to post something.

2- Make a signature line with a link to your website on other forums "for more help visit Webbmaster Universe.com." Post often on other sites and keep referring to your own site for more help. In this way you build credibility and a reputation for helping others.

3- Post a link here in the weblinks section. Do this on as many other related sites as possible!This way google will see it and it. This will help create link popularity and raise your ranking.

4- You have a great Domain name. Live up to it. Populate your site with content that states your superiority in the market place.

5- Make your site THE place to come. Recruit other helpers if required. Make a great articles selection. Their content will again give Google the message that this site has GOOD content.

6- Stay with it !! Time will make it work..
