UK based freeskating website called UrbanSkaters has taken me the best part of 3 months to build with Xoops. A few hacks here and there have made this probably one of the UK's best Inline / Quad Street Skating (freeskating) websites on the net.
If you're into Skating (not boarding) then check it out and drop me your feedback. I've packed it with everything a portal needs: Forums, chat room, photogallery, links, news, weather watch, calendar and much more.
It's pretty quiet right now, but that's because it's Winter over here. When the Summer arrives I'll start promoting on the skate scene more.

I have designed a few two-column themes that i have put on a new site. Right now, it is up for the sole purpose of serving my theme designs.

Spanish version of the Instalation Guide
When some months ago the Instalation Guide was published in English, I have announced a spanish version. Now this work is done. I do not know to whom I should send it. 
Thus, the spanish version is H E R E in PDF format.
Some small mistakes must be still settled. Should somebody find a translation or some other error, I thank for a short message (I´m not a spanish native speaker).
The images will be still exchanged with pictures from the Spanish Instalation.

Netquery 2.1 - New Whois Server Autodiscovery
Version 2.1 of Netquery, the complete PHP/SQL open-source toolkit of network information utilities, is now available for download from Dev.Xoops and from the VIRtech web site.
This version introduces autodiscovery for the Whois TLD-Server management item under Netquery's administrator interface. If the server entry is left blank, Netquery attempts to use an autodiscovery process via whois-servers.net data. Please note that this feature is not available for compound domain extensions (such as .co.uk) for which the server name must be entered manually based on the top level domain (TLD) server.

"Share your Ideas" site up and running with Xoops
This is a new site that I've just started up, giving anyone the opportunity to share their ideas (for anything!) with a wider audience.

From a better design for safety pins, to a solution to world hunger, and anything in between. So far there are only a few posts, things such as "Improving Bus Timetables", "Longer Lasting White Goods" and "eBooks"
But the more users we get, the more varied the content will be, as the content is all from the users and their personal ideas for the world.
It's hoped that lots of people will join and share their ideas, comments, suggestions, links and assistance. Maybe get a really good community going, and perhaps even get some of these ideas off the ground, or at least find out what is going on in that field right now.
Everyone is welcome! The more, the merrier!

My-Elegance Website Launched
Hello everybody,
We are proud to announce our new XOOPS-based website http://www.My-Elegance.com.
The goal of My-Elegance is to stimulate the wearing of Fully Fashioned Nylons (seamed nylons) and providing information about these nylons and everything that goes with it.
Everything in charming, elegant and decent way.
Sorry, it is only in the Dutch language at this moment (there is already a lot of information regarding our topic available in English on the internet).
