Inspire 2.0 Released
Inspire 2.0 public release edition is a slightly different from inspire 2.0 applied on XOOPS China. I’ve already talked about this in Inspire 2.0 technical preview and I’ll give a brief instruction in this post.
The public release version adopts XOOPS block system. That means, you will be able to customize the theme in the backend of XOOPS for most of the time. Compared to Inspire 1.0 Beta, which needs a lot of hard code, Inspire 2.0 is much easier to use.
Although Inspire 2.0 conforms to XOOPS block system, the blocks are different from the default layout. Here is a chart to illustrate.

XOOPS 2.4.1 FINAL Is Released
The XOOPS Development Team is pleased to announce that a new release of the #1 CMS System hosted on SourceForge - XOOPS 2.4.1 Final is available for download.
This release is a bugfix-release of XOOPS 2.4.0, done by XOOPS Core Development Team and XOOPS community:

Please remember: If you're installing it over previous installation, make a BACKUP first!
Please also note that some hacks done for previous XOOPS versions might not work with this release: testing before installing is always a good choice

I am pleased to announce the release of TDMDownloads 1.1.
This version fixes several bugs and brings some new features:
- The module supports the tagging system module 'TAG'.
- 2 options added in the preferences, the first to rename or not the uploaded file and the second to enter the prefix when the file is renamed.
- Added option "number of downloads per page in the administration."
- Fix a bug with the default editor of xoops (html display when editing).
- Fix a bug when deleting a category.
- Change management platforms (multi-menu selection) with the values defined in the preferences of the module.
- Added ability to rename the post and put the date of submission to date or not.
- Bug in the details of the votes in the admin, all votes were visible in all downloads.
- Fixed a bug in the admin for the download management when making a selection in the "waiting for validation", the filter brought on normal downloads.
