The Arabxoops.com is pleased to announce a new module called Tools, a basic and simple module as it first try of the Programer (Onaser).

With this module the Admin Can :

1- Make Mass/Single . Approval of New Comments , New user Registeration
2- Deny New User Registeration ,Or New Waiting Comments.
3-Re-Send Activation Code to New Member .
4-Repair/Optimize Database
5-Admin Note (announce ) where admin Can Share a Quick News or Message to his Visitors Thru a Block

This Module Comes with 3 languages: Arabic, English, and French.

This module Is free and still in the beta version .

YouPlayer Video module

Today I've completed my first XOOPS module.

The module is supposed to represent on page Bilib videos from Youtube in flash format:

You can similarly integrate it with some embed code, as used by YouTube
or you can use SWFObject
There are 3 variables
- Playlist = place the name of an XML playlist
- autoplay = true or false
- rollover_changing_thumbs = true or false (if the thumbnails to change on roll over)

XML structure:
As you can see, the XML structure very simple
Whenever you want a new YouTube video,
you just need a node named
"Title", a node named "ID" and a node named "Description"

You have here an example:

YOUTUBE_ID
Description (supports HTML text with CDATA)

All in mylist.xml

so it could show videos to your site when they want and how they want ...

New Free Theme Named "NadorCom"

I'm happy to present to you a new theme called "NadorCom"[/color]

Indexscan 2.0 Released

Indexscan scans your webfolders to see if you have folders without index files. Should it find a folder without index.html, index.htm, index.php or index.php3 it prints out the location and you can then descide weather to manually place a new or use the automatic create link and automaticly create index.html files in all folders that are missing.

The tool is only accessable through admin in your site.

I have now released indexscan as a version 2.0.

Changes are.:

- Added search words "fromCharCode","%69%66%72%61%6D%65","document.write(unescape(" to search words in iframe scan, to look for encoded javascript includes
- Spiced the scanning up with some highlighting javascript + some jquery for the scan and messages with lazy load
- Excluded the modules/indexscan from the iframe scan. The description and functions contain multible iframe-words and thus always gets caught in the scan.

- french translation and style css corrections (thanks Kris_fr)

Default english translations have been added in all language files. Feel free to send me in your language so I can change to correct language.

In October our most important event was the release of XOOPS 2.4.0. Also Wishcraft is back with several new and updated modules.

Highlights of the last month:

XOOPS 2.4.2 FINAL Is Released
XOOPS Website is going live with XOOPS 2.4.2
XOOPS Innovation Award - for people who create something very unique and innovative for XOOPS. This time the award goes to Dylian Melgert (Dylian) from Netherlands for his innovative work on xoBile (XOOPS Mobile) . Dylian, who is 15 years old, is the youngest ever recipient of XOOPS Innovation Award!!!!
XOOPSer of the Month Award: is given to XOOPS members who show extraordinary dedication to XOOPS, and go the extra mile for XOOPS. This month, we we'll have a first time ever a team award, and it will go to members of the Leonardo Lino Kaotik from Portugal for their continues work on Tutorials for XOOPS Users, especially his jQuery Tutorial series (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
