XOOPS is an exciting platform powered by the dedication of Open Source Developers that passionately make version for the community. Community maintained and committed, XOOPS offers one of the most helpful environment to nurturer any web developers needs. This is more of an Artistic Contribution my friend NQAI is making a XOOPS Song and this is the alpha edition. NQAI Records Professionally write jingles for advertising, this is not but could be used with the Video Competition. I would like to see a song competition as well. I'm sorry, but don't like lyrics at all.

Music is nice for an alpha release, but in my opinion if Xoops wants to be a serious CMS and make people to think about it as that, any promotion video/song must to "look" professional enough.

don't just criticize, if you have the talent why don't make a new one for xoops ..

this is subjective..its up to everyone ears to like it or not....

Yes aphex, this is indubiously the problem i have had a couple of times here at xoops, I know people struggle with my occka aussie slang I use in day to day communications.

Recently I was offering constructive criticism on 2.4.5 RC and I was flamed with IM and emails from various passionate members, that did obviously not take constructive criticism correctly.

I then took some time out to do a post on something I am passionate about the heath of code as I suffer from an illness only lightly that normally will with an unskilled and uneducated coder reproduce itself in the code.

This was deleted as the person couldn't read my english correctly as aussie slang and thought I was attacking and individual.. I wish that post was visible it was a member lounge post.

But thanks to you all for the support of the XOOPS song, Paul will have a rework for use for a Beta or RC release soon. I should get nick from idol to make a pop xoops song.. He is my new BFF..

Sorry for meddling in, but I think it doesn't seem that friendly and kind when an intentionally funny song is treated and critisized as a state anthem or something. It's like coming to the birthday party to say that the birthday man sucks IMO.
