But at the end, I think we 3 have to work together. It´s not only the design, there are the scripts too. And I think all of us has his own skills and experiences with ajax and javascripts.
The most important think is, to get the best look for Xoops, to blow away all other CMS

Re: Voting Open for next XOOPS ThemeIf we are to blow away the other CMS we need to look at what they have done in terms of the look/appeal, layout and the content for the front/default page in particular and the rest of the site. so we may end up selecting one theme for the look and the other for the layout and the other for its content and ease of getting around. I think at the end it will be a combination of this criteria so its working as a team.

Xoops front end design is not it's strong part, but the core, modularity, permissions and notifications systems, and all good stuff...rocks.
Maybe is time for a face lift. You know, first impression counts.

It was the only design posted from him I know.
I agree what was written in the post, vote for the themes with demos. I don´t know if Bit is able to a make demo.
I made a design I knew i can make a working demo of it.
At the moment my design has not this many Ajax or javascripts in it, but it´s fast loading, and for me, it´s more important.
More scripts can be included later

But having a Demo was not a requirement. It's definitely nice to have one, but it was up to the designers to provide one if they could. The main issue is the "look & feel" of the design.
However, I don't think we have to worry about BitC3R0's skills of making a demo of his design - he has developed the EXM System

Which one displays a semantic html formatted (h1,h2,h3,p) home page with h3 block titles?
Which one uses IAB standard images sizes and considers these standards when sizing columns, blocks and headers?
Which one has smarty text in every image alt and anchor title tag?
Which one is tablefree?
Which has liquid width to suit all display media? 1280px to 160px collapsable please.
Which one applies page formatting using style.css for screen, print and mobile media?
Lets not forget what must be under the pretty!

I´m using an Iphone by myself, and if it´s just for me, but I love to see a speacial theme for the site
A few weeks a go I started to learn how to realize those themes.
I think all themes have to tabeless today. All my free themes are tablefree by the way. I hate tables now

I like your point. I'll try to follow your instructions. Actually I've implemented 960gs(it's table-free) so it should work well in different browsers.
