I get this whenever I try to load the gallery page for the first time. On refresh it works fine, but I always get this garbage text first. Odd.

And it needs to be installed from the unix shell as far as i know, unless ono made it easier to install.
GD/Image Magick wont work with galery.
Re: "Gallery" module for XOOPS RC3Yes, you need NetPBM, but the Gallery Devs provide binaries that could be installed using only FTP...I've not tried it though, since the xoops.org server has it already installed.

I'm running Gallery under RC2 (thanks to feer 
) and was wondering if a great developper would adapt it for RC3 otherwise I would have stuck on RC2. And now I see the developer team take care of it, just wonderfull!!! For the peoples asking, I'm on amen.fr and it works thanks to the binaries as onkazu said. And I'm not a developper, so if I can do it, everybody can do it Can't wait for the release...

BugsThe Gallery module doesn't appear to detect my username. It says on the upper right "Welcome, "
Also, on first load, I get a blank page now. Everytime on the first load of the gallery module I get a blank page. When I reload the page it shows.
Anyone else get this?
Re: BugsNot really sure about the blank page, but the name doesn't appear is that because maybe you don't have your real name set in your profile. It's not a bug, but would be nice if it used username...please someone suggest this to the Gallery Devs. 
Re: "Gallery" module for XOOPS RC3This is great! This is what I've been waiting for and this would be the deciding factor for me whether to switch to xoops.
There was a poll at one time at the gallery website whether they should support XOOPS and the outcome was positive. If I remember it right they announced they they would start to support XOOPS in future versions.
