i have my cbb with some things modified and that make more dificult apply a whole new cbb package. 
Have any idea what files changed between 1.14 and 1.15?

Re: CBB 1.16I got an issue for adding a new category on a fresh installation of the cbb module. this prevent from adding forums and generate an sql error when entering the module
My fix for that is to modify the /admin/admin_car_manager.php
and remove the comments /* and */ around theses lines.

Re: CBB 1.16Hi Mowaffak, i take a look to your 1.15 to 1.16 patch, i think the following files in your zip are not part of the 1.16 update:
viewtopic.php
reply.php
print.php
Just take a look to the date of these files, are old files, tell me if im wrong.

Re: CBB 1.16This updated went really smooth and http://www.wizanda.com is now updated from Newbb to CBB, making it look much better.
The update function in this works unlike in 2.3, as I did try updating my site and forum to the new XOOPS and latest CBB.
yet it wouldn't transfer the forums across properly, they showed in pruning, yet not as forums in admin.
The catergories showed up in admin and on the site, yet no forums.
Is it not possible to use this sort of update from NewBB to CBB latest as it seems to work far better.
Also you could add a way to add the default permission settings to all forums, when upgrading from Newbb it would help many users.
Please carry on both of the CBB's as I am not upgrading xoops; as it doesn't work properly with all my modules.
I like the concepts that are trying to be added yet I really prefer XOOPS standard menu, to the new one.
Yet there is to many error all over is the main problem.
So I won't be changing till things become more stable as will a lot of people.
Look at this site, xoops.org; if you have been here as long as I have or longer, the forum use to be more active and the post where diffrent.
Now all it says is "ERROR ERROR ERROR".
So I love all you lot, yet we had a stable system, that loads of people have added to.
Now suddenly many modules won't work, that is basicly cutting off half a communities work.
Sorry I am going on I was disapointed with how odd things didn't work and like the main being loggin with XOOPS 2.3?
so if you see it isn't that I don't want to upgrade to the 2.3, it's that I can't and at present don't need the extra functionality.
So please, please, plase, please! CBB Gang carry on some of the feature with this,
If the community voted for it would you say yes to downgrading some of the features from 2.3 to this version to make it that all xoopers can have an amazing forum!!?
