Analyzing the newbb folder with CSDiff I noticed that many files had changed. So I don't think the changelog is actually so short

After installing this update I loose my whole site, all I get is a blank white page. After putting back 2.30 everything is OK again.

jcweb, there was a bug in delete.php
For those who have downloaded, plz re-download it.

As for changelog, it IS a significant update concerning files affected, even with structure change, however all the changes were made solely for query optimization.

Thanks, bug fixed!

I´m not sure if this one more or not. The last forum in the last category is not showing, only when i click on the category link. I test it with cbb 2.3.1 - here i see all forums!

If i click the last category, he shows me the forum in a new site with only these one last forum.

I made some scrennshots, click screenshots cbb to check

Thanks Andy

I've got the same problem, which is really a problem as I have only one category. Now I'm using 2.31 again.
Nethertheless it's nice module :)

Same problem here. I tested CBB 2.32 on my local test site and I have only one forum in one category and it isn't showing up in the index page.

P.S.: thank you for this usefull module

Next bug or misconfig in language?

If you answer a topic and click on the answer button, the follow text fills automatic in:

_MS_RE:

I tested with the reply.php from version 2.3.0 - there´s no bug or whatever inside.

maybe this is answered somewhere else but i searched and didn't see anything

i'm using XOOPS 2.2.3a
when i tried to upgrade from newbb2.02 to this, i overwrote the files, then updated the module in admin.

none of the topics or categories show up. some of the template files say "file doesn't exist" when i click on generate.

and when i try to manually upload, it says "mime type not allowed" for .css files and "Template file newbb_block_active.html does not need to be installed" for the .html files.

what am i supposed to do?

I had the problem of certain categories not displaing on the index page also, so I went back down to 2.31 and it went away.

It runs now 2.3.2 on my site. If u like to try it, you can download the pack from my downloads->category xoops. The Site is in german language, cbb 2.3.2 is in different language (english too) and its the original pack! I´m not sure, but my meaning is, that the downloadfile from the original was damaged!?

Bye Andy

1st: Thank your a wonderful module!

2nd: how to split a thread?

3rd: will split/merge thread be possible in CBB 1.16? That would be really nice for me, since I can't upgrade to 2.2.3 just yet.

Split/merge/move a post is currently only available in CBB 2.3*
If you can't upgrade now, plz wait for a while when XOOPS 2.3 is ready

Split a thread:
1 on a "view topic page", click the "Admin" at the bottom of that page
2 click "split the post" or "split all following/children pots" for every posts

K, There must be something obvious to everyone else that is not obvious to me :)

I cannot find the admin button at the bottom of any page in order to split a topic or move a post. Can anyone give me a clue as to what I am missing.

BTW have two seperates sites up on with XOOPS 2.2.3 full and CBB 2.32 and the other with XOOPS 2.2.3 full and CBB 3.01.

I am also attaching a screen shot. NM i guess you cant attach a screenshot in here in this forum.

Oh well I have no "admin" at the bottom of a veiw page. ANy ideas?

Thanks
Foz

Well, the only way to solve this issue was to completely uninstall the module and reinstall it. Upgrading from 2.32 to 3.01 did not bring back my admin button :(

I saved the 12 tables related to this module, unistalled the module, reinstalled the module, and uploaded the tables and all is finally fixed.

Thanks for this nice module phppp :)
