XOOPS: XOOPS 2.2.3 relabelled to RC Status

Due to the quickly discovered bugs present in the XOOPS 2.2.3 release, I have decided to follow the suggestion and re-label the release status to a RC, meaning that it is not recommended for a production website.

Development of a stable XOOPS 2.2.x version continues and with more than 10 people pledging to join the new beta testing group, I can assure everyone reading this that we will not make another release of XOOPS 2.2.x until we are absolutely certain that there are no bugs of the magnitude, we have seen lately.

The first step will be to get the beta testing group going, so the infrastructure is as it should be and the team is ready to test.
Then the testing will go on, bugs will be reported and the core developers will handle them before making new releases that will be tested by the testing group and only when the testers are happy, will a final stable release be launched.

With this new cooperation getting started, it will be difficult to say, when a stable XOOPS 2.2.x-based version can be released, but we will take the time that is necessary.
