Modules: eXtCal 2.0 RC2 is out

eXtCal is an event/calendar module developed exclusively for XOOPS, it is thus integrated perfectly there.
It integrates a fine management of the right user allowing thus a great flexibility in are use. You can view it in live and find support on my web site : Zoullou.net.

This is the second Release Candidate version, don't use on production site.
Please report any bug you find by the Bugs Tracker.

When looking at calendar for month September, it shows 29 August on Monday, but not 30+31 August on Tuesday and Wednesday.
It also shows an event on 29 August in calendar for September that's schedulded for 28+29 September.

When you click the URL for more info about the event, it opens the site not in a new window but in the current.
Better change line 33 in extcal_event.html to:

how can i use wysiwyg editor in extcal ??

Go to Admin screen, Preferences -> eXtCal -> Module Preferences and select an option from 'Allow HTML'.

Thsi bug is fixed and it will be corrected with next RC. Thanks

I prefer to decide on my own if I want to open a link in a new window or not. When browsing around and every link opens a new window I consider this as disturbing.
I realize this is a matter of your personal preferred browsing style. But if you are using one of the newer browsers (Opera7,8 or Firefox) you just press SHIFT or STRG when clicking on the link and it's opened in a new window.
This leaves the decision to the user if he wants a new window or doesn't.

I dig this module. It's very clean and nice.

1 bug.
when you go to a day to see whats going on, there is a "who's going" area, when I click "Add me" it add's me, but it takes me to a blank page. Same with "remove me"

1 suggestion.
I said this in the forums as well. Something to let me repeat an event, say every sunday. Or every 6th of the month, or every year.
I run a church site and it would be a very nice addition. typing in the church services every sunday is quite a pain. lol (just an idea)

I have been holding off and holding off any upgrades to 2.2 on my site. I have been waiting for some of the major modules that I use to become available. This is one of those modules and thank you for your continued develompment of this excellent module.

A few more modules aand I will consider the immense task of upgrading.

Also, my users do not understand 24 hour time. Is there a fix for that? For the dropdown time chooser as well?

i´ve done this selection but nothing changes
installed are koivi, htmlarea and fckeditor..
these works fine with news module

another problem
whenever i submit an event (DHTML) using IE, explorer crash and must be closed, but the event are correctly submitted

anyone an idea ??

@pvtpyro : The bug is fixed and it will be corrected in next RC. I probably will add recuring event (like Pical) in next release of eXtCal
I don't have solution for the moment for date format on the dropdown time chooser but you can make 12 hour date on module display.

@maydo : WYSIWYG editor bug is fixed and will be corrected in next RC. For IE problem it work for me. Use Firefox

Excellent stuff. I immediately plugged it into a soon-to-be-opened political campaign site. Agenda-X has a bug in it that does not allow some posts to "take", which makes it somewhat useless.

This looks a lot better on the site as well. I especially like the way it plugs into image manager and swaps pictures. I can use that.
