For uploading big files...need to know the pecentage files uploading...in any xoop version...

Are you using a module or admin menu or what for uploads?

In case you just want to receive files (without the need for sharing them directly on your site) you could place a stand alone ajax uploader in an Iframe

Or simply use Chrome, it display progress bar in percents on the status bar....
