It seems many of these have stalled development.

X-forum seems the newest:
https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=20&lid=1795

But it says it's only compatible with Xoops 2.3.

I also looked at CBB 3.0.8, the same forum used on this site.

Howerver I can't find the required packages:
Frameworks 1.60 was found
XoopsEditor was not.

I searched the Modules directory and:
https://xoops.org.cn/uploads/mydownloads/xoops/xoops-class-xoopseditor.zip
orhttp://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1155

i will recommend use cbb/newbb 3.08

frameworks or xoopseditor are not necessary for newbb since xoops 2.3..
frameworks has been included in the core

the docs for the module should really be updated

or you can try newbb 4.05...still in beta though

I use xForum with Xoops 2.5 and I am perfectly satisfied with it.

I keep XForum Upto date, I haven't edited the copy in sometime. It works with XOOPS 2.4, XOOPS 2.5 as well.

Thanks for the help.
I decided to go with CBB 3.0.8
I installed the module and it seems to work.
However, I can't seem to find the CBB blocks.

SystemOptions > Blocks Administration > AddBlock

The only option I'm given is Custom HTML block.

How do I add Recent Comments block and Recent Topics like on the Xoops home page?
