The "news" module makes it possible to add a "recent news" block in which the items can be ordered by published date. However, this is "newest first" by default and cannot be changed in the settings, while i would like it to be "oldest first". How can i do that?

Using the "archives" block is not an option since it does not have the possibility to show only certain topics (which i want). Of course, a way to do that would also be a solution but i think it would be more complicated.

This would be a really useful option, as would displaying the news articles themselves in 'oldest first' order...

Anyone go any ideas?
