Module Does not match theme

Ok so im relatively new to this. But i have a theme that i edited for my needs and when i do to use a module the look and feel does not match. Say that the theme is green based and the module ends up a light blue when i click on it in the menu.

The blue does not match the rest of the site.. This is true for the user info page and the registration page as well



Please let me know if there is a fix.

You should make the changes in CSS.

There is a good extension for FireFox and for Chrome called Web Developer

You can use it to see which part of CSS is controlling particular part of your Webiste, in this case the color of your table.

Once you know, you can change it to your liking.

It's the css in your theme. This css basicly overwrites the core css and changing the atributes you decide.

Most themes uses a copy of the core css with different values.

See this as an example

In this you can in main menu choose the different areas to see what they do and look like.

The example is for the standard XOOPS classes. Many module introduce other styling classes, which have then to be styled along the theme.
Check your HTML source in the browser and search for style and css.
