Hello there. Had too long to write but here I am again!!!

One member of my website gave me the idea to have a poll at a new topic. To be able to create a topic at forum with a poll at the head.

I use cbb 3.05 but have no option for this. Check my site (http://www.iek-01.com) pls and give me an idea if it's possible.

You must also have the xoopspoll module installed and give (in the newbb) permissions to the users groups to create polls.

and do the two modules collaborate together?

i gave rights (at permissions) to register users and admins.

i have xoopspoll v.1.

lets suppose i want to make a new topic with a poll what have to do?

If it is correctly set up, then you have next to the 'new topic' button a 'new poll' button. When you click on it, you have to enter a forum post as usual, eg explaining the purpose of the poll and after submitting that, you can define the poll options.

Well i installed version 1.3 and when i go to CP of the module i have the optios 1) Polls Configuration
and 2) Polls List but with nothing else!! just the text 1) Polls Configuration and 2) Polls List.

Of course there is no new poll option to the forum. what do i do wrong?

Did you set the permissions in the forum admin for the polls?

You should never have to go into the settings of the actual XoopsPoll module. If the XoopsPoll module is installed, you should get a button right next to the new topic button saying new poll, just like Ghia says.

Go to the settings of the CBB module, on the Permissions tab, select Can Add Poll from the dropdown and make sure the relevant groups have access.

I've tried this myself with XoopsPoll 1.3 and CBB 3.08/CBB 4.02/X-Forum 4.12.

ok as i see it works now but it came up a new issue :)

i can't put an individual poll inside a block :)

grrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!!

Have only one poll checked for display in the poll list.

Else try Umfrage, maybe that module has more possibilities.

Can you please be a bit more specific about what you're after when you say you want an individual poll inside a block?
