Since I can't uninstall, the module still shows as existing on my module manager page. I've tried 3 times to delete the files and reinstall and now there are 3 'tutorial' modules on my module manager page.

When I click on the uninstall link (after deactivating it), all I get is a blank page. How to delete from module manager?

Annoying.

Thanks for any help!

With debug on in preferences do you have any error messages ?

What are your php, mysql, XOOPS version ?

Which tutorial (link?) did you install?

With debug mode on, and trying to uninstall from the admin/modules page, I get the following error message:

Fatal error "doc_root" removed by me:
Call to a member function getInfo() on a non-object in /"doc_root"/public_html/modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php on line 211

I'm using XOOPS 2.4.4, but not sure about the PHP version, the latest stable I would assume. I just installed XOOPS a few weeks ago and have been trying to learn how to customize it for my website. So far, I haven't found too helpful of material.

The tutorial module was found at:
http://www.kaotik.biz/tutorial/buildmodule1.html

I'm assuming that the module is not compatible with the latest XOOPS version. It wouldn't work after installing it so I'm unwilling to try again.

It looks like you have deleted the folder (tutorial) from your web server. This is the reason it cannot be uninstalled.

Try to upload again, uninstall, and if unsuccessfull tell what errors does it make.

Also be award if you have changed the module (name, table names etc) this could be the reason the uninstall is not working.

/Hope it'll work out for you :)
