Hi. Where can i find some modules for new release 2.4.2 ;) and i guess modules from 2.0.* will not work with 2.4.2 :) am i right?

If I have well unterstood, some modules may need modifications to make wysiwyg editors... but there is no matter if you use last versions.

I mean ... can i use modules for 2.0 version .. to 2.4.2 version ? or they are incompatible? :)

It's really hard to say. This is the same like asking if all Windows XP application will work on Windows 7. Most of them will, but some of them won't.

The same is with XOOPS - most of the modules should work, but some will have problems, especially if you run XOOPS on PHP 5. Some of the older modules might also have security problems.

So the best way is to check Burning's list of tested modules, or ask specifically about a particular module, or describe what you're looking for, and then we can recommend you a module that will do the work for you.

Okay :) .. i need real estate module (example:https://xoops.org/modules/repository/viewcat.php?cid=119 ) or/and catalog (directory) module. (example:https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=108&lid=1370)

If anybody can help .. :))

• TechnoImmo : does not works with XOOPS 2.3.x and higher

• OpenRealty : does not works with XOOPS 2.3.x and higher

• xDirectory : last version 3.01, here . I'm not sure that it works with last XOOPS version, because I've just read this topic here

...you should make some tests and tell us

rUMENcho as you see these modules are old and abadoned. For XOOPS there isn't any good working out of the box real estate module. If you want to use the site exclusively for real estate use a running script - ask google. 4e list here. . In last year I build a site based on open realty (I regret that it does not work in xoops, and alone I can not customize it).
But when you have to be a big portal where real estate is to be only a part will have to adjust catads or another module for announcements.

MrTang Some people use wordpress in different versions - I know 4 or 5 of them working in xoops. In China it is very popular LifeType. In Japan very popular is d3blog or d3diary (look here these modules should work on XOOPS 2.4).
There is also another module, which unfortunately does not work with XOOPS (it was created fox EXMSystem...), but it looks promising. It's MyWords from www.redmexico.com.mx. I hope that one day it will be adjusted by BitC3R0 to work with xoops.

Done all them none work.
Compatibility list dead links or modules are not compatible.

Some use smartsection or now publisher mopdules.
But there is an old module (weblog - I didn't test it) - find here
