Yeah sounds like this theme is giving some problems. What XOOPS version, php version are you using ?

Try to turn on phpdebug in your prefrences in admin and see what errors are screened

It's been a while since I had 2.0.18 but I am pretty sure there was a debug feature in there somewhere.

But see if you can spot some errors printing out to screen, other than all blocks being empty of course.

you have gone through this list ?

Thank u culex

yes there is debug feature (i didn't use it earlier because of the warning)
when i turned it ON
the follow messege appears

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "db:system_block_dummy.html" in file /class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1095

it look right @
xoops_root\modules\system\templates\

but in templates manager it's not
when click create the error appears

Selected file does not exist (appear online & locally)

right now i use my local server
Windows Vista
PHP 5.2.6
mySQL 5.0.51a

i did reinstall the XOOPS (locally)
without the new theme
the problem is as seen above

thank u again

ok unless you have deleted some templates it should help to go to admin -> modules -> and press update at "system"

Se if this is not creating the templates.

If this is not working located this file dummy.html in the installation file and upload. Maybe something got lost in your uploading in the first place, and then /prefs/modules/update/system :)
