Module install section not displaying uploaded modules

Can someone help please. I wanted to delete a module from the modules section in admin but I deleted it from the modules folder on the server before I uninstalled it in admin.

Then I uninstalled it and now the modules that were in the 'to install' section in admin have disappeared. Also, any new modules that I upload to the server do not show up in the modules section in admin.

Does someone know how to fix this?

Did you try uploading the deleted files again?

yes upload the files again that you deleted, and uninstall via admin. Then you can delete the folder again. The reason you dont see any new modules is probably because because you get "files not found" errors stopping the page.

Thanks. I tried uploading the deleted one again but it didn't work. But I found out that the 'pico' module that i had uploaded was stopping them from showing up. So it's fixed now.
