Notifications.php Blank Page for just me

I posted about this some time ago
but i dont see it in my notifications here on xoops
and i cand find the thread so ill start it up again with new info.

each time i click on NOTIFICATIONS i get a blank white page.
Not sure why or when it started but its been a really long time now.

So today i remembered in the last message i posted here
i turned on DEBUG MODE and pasted the info it shows
so here we go again.

DEBUG MODE = ON
i click on NOTIFICATIONS
and i see a blank white page with this bug info

Fatal error: Call to a member function getVar() on a non-object in /home/virtual/antifm/public_html/modules/extcal/include/notification.inc.php on line 18
All errors (0) queries (82) blocks (0) extra (0) timers (3)


Now hold on a second!
Before anyone tells me the problem is EXTCAL module
and that i should just simply deactivate it
Theres one more bit of information.

I am the ADMIN of the site.
and thats the error page i get

my wife is also the ADMIN of the site
but she can see the page.

Now doesnt that throw a monkey wrench into the mix?
both of us are admins ( or just another name for WEBMASTER level )
yet she can see it and i cant?
Why? because shes a woman and deserves it more? hahahah

I also asked a large number of people on the site if they have any problems with the page and all answers i have received are
"NO PROBLEMS"
why just my account?

Yes there is a bug with this and we are looking into it. However I remember giving someone else a temp fix to this issue a little while back. (You will have to search for it sorry :) )

Read this thread and follow the instructions regarding deleting cache etc etc.

let me get this straight and then ill try it tonight
I really gotta get this working because my notifications listing must be pages long lol

Ok so

Im taking this from cp_functions.php
echo "
        </body>
      </html>
    ";


and moving it to the top of line 157
which i guess currently reads as

echo $GLOBALS['xoopsLogger']->render( '' );


So the result would be

154 echo "
155        </body>
156      </html>
157    ";
158 echo $GLOBALS['xoopsLogger']->render( '' );


Am i guetting this correct?

no trabis its not a cache problem
that would be incase i cant get anything to function in notificatiosn.php
as well as anyone else on the site
however
its ONLY my account that can not see the notifications page

Did you try it with the same browser on the same computer as your wife?
Are you both member of the same user groups (normally only webmasters)?

could it be that it is looking for an item that is not present.

like what?
the only think that couldnt be present is a block set to disabled on the page but that wouldnt cause it

reason i created the group ADMINS
and gave it all permissions like WEBMASTERS
is because some time go, WEBMASTERS group couldnt see ANYHTING but a blank page everywhere on the site
not sure how it happend
it was just automatic one night.
I was on the site... bouncing around
stopped to do my live radio broadcast
and someone here in the studio told me
my page is blank... i thought the site crashed but no,
it was just myself and my wife ( Groups = WEBMASTERS )
so i created the new group and moved us into it.

Anyway... im not sure but since then maybe is when only i couldnt get notifications page working on my account.



did i check it on other browsers + other computers

yes... again, when i am logged in as me, i get the blank page
doesnt matter what computer or browser.

I even during the time have purchased a new computer and even that one shows the error or blank page

wait a min
i just realized

im supposed to edit the file

cp_functions.php

but where is it?
