Hi guys,

Here is my problems. It's really screw my head up since I had been searching so many ways like re-uploaded the whole thing and set the cache, template-c, uploads folder to 777 and also mainfile.php

Does anyone can tell me why I still cannot find the installation path ?

XOOPS Physical paths

No XOOPS installation could be found in the specified folder.
/home/xxx/htdocs No XOOPS installation could be found in the specified folder.

/home/xxx/htdocs
/home/xxx/htdocs/xoops_data path found

XOOPS library directory
/home/xxx/htdocs/xoops_lib path found


Website location (URL)
http://www.xxx.org

Maybe you are missing files in your download or upload. Do the file check (see release notes).

I try re-upload the files and it seems the same thing to me.

No XOOPS installation could be found in the specified folder.

/home/xxx/htdocs

And what did the file check say?

Ok, re-upload the install folder to the XOOPS root, and run the install again. XOOPS will recompile the mainfile.php without the risk over-writing the database.

Just remember to use the information you did when you first installed :)

This is not the file check. It is a separate script to upload and to delete when you are done with it.

Oh I see :)

Basically you have uploaded all the required files into htdocs, the installer finds the paths to xoops_data etc, but not the actual root. You have uploaded the installer into /htdocs and not a sub folder further up the directory structure or below it?

Can I have a look at this? pm with a link please?

He means the installer :)
