Date format in CBB - old problem recurring!

This is a question that has cropped up on the forums in the past. The old answers aren't fixing it for me with 2.3.2a - sorry!

It's about the date format in xoops. I had it fine for ages, but the 2.3.2a upgrade changed it. It's all OK again except for CBB/newbb.

I've checked the usual suspects:
XOOPS_ROOT/modules/newbb/language/english/main.php
XOOPS_ROOT/language/english/global.php
Frameworks/xoops22/language/english/user.php

All are as suggested, but still it shows the shorter date format, 11/11 etc.

Any advice??

I doubt that the upgrade has something to do with it.

In fact there are four formats used depending on which day it is. One for today, one for yesterday, one for dates from past year (12 months) and one for the other dates. Your example is the one for past year which is shown as day/month and time.
If you want always the general format, you have to set the four formats to eg "Y/n/j G:i".

Ghia, I reckon there are more than 4 date formats in xoops, but something there definitely are 4 of are files I had to alter to get it working!

JAV, Thanks once again! I never needed to alter that file before - don't understand why but just pleased it works now.

It looks to be the current filename/location of one that used to be in Frameworks in a sub-folder called /compat

Just to catch people up with this files to look into to solve this problem in case others are still struggling.... And a huge thank you to the person that found the date codes in the locale.php file!!!

I don't understand why one definition is strewn across so many files.

XOOPS_ROOT/modules/newbb/language/english/main.php
-- logical location to change for CBB but it does nothing for date format
-- obsolete code?

XOOPS_ROOT/language/english/global.php
-- does not affect CBB, might have worked for SmartSection and xlhd
-- THIS IS ONE OF THE FILES TO CHANGE FOR non-CBB MODULES

XOOPS_ROOT/language/english/locale.php
-- changes CBB
-- THIS IS ONE OF THE FILES TO CHANGE

XOOPS_ROOT/Frameworks/xoops22/language/english/user.php
-- does not exist in my 2.3.3 installation

XOOPS_ROOT/Frameworks/compat
-- no php files, only 3 gifs, nothing to edit for time
...

There is a patch that reactivates some unreachable code, causing using the date formats from /modules/newbb/language/english/main.php again.
