Ok, whenever I change my mainfile.php to use a new XOOPS_DB_PREFIX(which is live/active), whenever I login, it returns me to the login screen/prompt even though it says 'Thank you for logging in XXXX'

If I return the XOOPS_DB_PREFIX to the default (which is flagged as a secruity weakness), everything works fine.

This was working fine yesterday and I noticed the problem starting last night. Is this a hack or do I screw up some code somewhere?

I am using XOOPS 2.0.18.1.

Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated :)

You did change all the names of your tables in the database to reflect the new prefix?
Module Protector has an admin function to assist that.

no I hadn't, but it was working. I understand why it's broken now, but don't understand why it worked for a few weeks and then stopped.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to look into it

Hi! i'm having the same or similar problem!
I login to my site, it validates ok my username and password, and then it returns to the main page, and doesn't enable me my user's profile and privileges...

I haven't changed anything...
