I have installed XOOPS before and thought it was great but I just couldn't stand the boxy look of it. I can tell a XOOPS site a mile away and need the site to be flexible as to where content is placed. Are there any themes that accomplish this?

If this is not the right place point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Not all XOOPS designs are 'boxy'. It's up to your imagination and creative skills to make it whatever you want. One of the best thing about XOOPS is its super simple template system which gives a designer an excellent pallete to work with.

Check these designs which are all powered by Xoops
http://miragetampa.com
http://dudhaproductions.com
http://djkirkyc.com (loads an audio file)
http://hobstyles.com/main.php
http://faceofthecaribbean.com/index.php
http://irishandchin.com

and there are lots more like these around but since you expect a certain design you won't know that they are powered by the supreme XOOPS engine.

Actualy, these themes with the iframe are not too bad at all.
I wonder if someone has an example code somewhere..

(..not sure how the iframe contains only the middle column and none of the side ones..)

Thanks!

aharon, it appears that only one of those sites use iframe. The others must be using a fixed div container with the {overflow: auto} style because the source doesn't show any iframes. As for the middle column display, you can do that by deleting the side column codes from your theme.html file.
