This site is over a year old and was last crawled on august 24th, why could my page rank be zero? (especially since i have been a google adwords customer for over a year).

This is just a "flooring guys" website, how can my competitors be showing up in a search and not me?

Probably because Google has only 54 pages indexed.
You can see which pages are indexed by entering site:www.mikeshardwoodfloors.com in the Google search box.

There's also only one website linking to yours (link:www.mikeshardwoodfloors.com).

On other search engines like Yahoo and MSN the amount of indexed pages is very low.

actually that is kind of weird, I had a website with one one page indexed that went up to pr1.

Maybe the secret algorithm doesn't like your website.

You need to do A LOT of reading about google ranking and website marketting !!!

lets start with a few simple facts:

mikeshardwoodfloors.com
PageRank: 1 (homepage)
DMOZ Directory: Nothing
Yahoo! Directory: Nothing
Yahoo! Backlinks: 2 (????? !!!!!)
Domain Age: 2 Years, 173 Days

1. Get yourself into Yahoo and DMOZ and any directory you can !!!
2. Make a links page (for reciprocal links ... though it's better not to eschange, but to do it with a 3rd party website .... google don't like direct exchange)
3. connect your pages from the text itself ...
4. Site map is a good idea too

5. Read more about PR and RANK ... your website is just floating out there in CyberSpace without those technics ...

One more thing: you can send it to my Gifts & Shopping Directory (under Home Decor) .... I'll approve it .... so one link you already got
(I transfered it to a new domain 3 weeks ago, but I expect rank 3 or 4 in two monthes or so ....
