WebLinks Plugin for XOOPS Tag 1.6

Hi,

Has anyone developed a WebLinks of Xpress plugin for XOOPS Tag 1.6? I just installed XOOPS Tag and read the instructions on sample.php file, but it's not straight forward and I wasn't able to come up with a solution for the plugin.

I haven't seen any "tags" feature on any weblink modules myself, so not sure about that one.

Xpress comes with

".[XPress] Tags and Images 1.0 This plugin provides the XOOPS Tag input API as well as integration with Technorati tags and related Flickr images, to display related images to your post; Cache is enabled. Originated “SimpleTags” by Broobles and “Flickr Related Images” by David Appleyard By D.J. (phppp)."

That's copied from the Xpress admin > plugins, so it should come with it. You need the XOOPS Tag 1.6 installed as well.

Put the following at the bottom of your post
In Xpress use <tags><---tags here---></tags>

The tags will show up in a block that you can choose from Admin >>> System Module >>> "Blocks" ......Top Tag or Tag Cloud.

Hi Darin,

I put the following at the bottom of my Xprees blog post
<tags><TESTTAG></tags> but nothing shows up on the 'Tag Cloud' or 'Top Tag'. It has the following on the Tag Admin page but nothing under Tag Admin. I also tried doing 'Synchronization'.

Statistic Infomation
Tag count:1
Item count:2

Module count:Tag count - Item count
Blogs:1 - 2 [Tag Admin] [Synchronization]

The '.[XPress] Tags and Images' plugin is activated. Am I missing something here?

Hi

You just need to put <tags>TESTTAG</tags>. That should work if the Tags module is working correctly.

I de-activated the plugin and activated it again, set 'Enable URL rewrite' to NO, now the tags showed up on the 'Tag Cloud' and working for XPress. Thanks everyone for your help!!
