I'm looking for a module that let's users write a story (basically it should be a review of a played match), not like a blog, but very simple, just write and save a story which others can read. I saw the stories-mod but this doesn't work with the news-mod

do any of you know if there's a mod that allows members to write their own stories?

SmartSection. Rename it to what you want, and use that that. If you are already using it then just create a new category. If you use Multimenu you can point users straight at the 'stories' section. SmartSection has very good permissioning so you can restrict story submission to a group of users if required.

I use wiwimod 0.8.3 for this on my site and I've seen it used on other sites for exactly this purpose.

Recommended.

Soapbox is also a fine module for this purpose. I still hope there is somebody who is willing to pick up this module for further development/enhancements. This module is definately worthwhile.....

I think it is a shame that module was lost due to the language barrier. Do you have a copy of it?
