I have a site hosted by ace-host.net which has stopped working. By stopped working I mean the php no longer get kicked back by the server. But not all php scripts, just the ones in Xoops. Absolutely nothing from my end was changed and it just stopped. They do not admit to changing anything but it is possible I suppose. If I upload a php file it works fine. The host, which I do not particularly care for anyhow, told me I uploaded them as binary files (rather than ASCII) and that is why it is not working. The fact of the matter is that it worked fine for weeks the way it was and then just stopped. Nothing get translated...see it at www.networkingforyoursuccess.com. I updated to 2.0.16 AFTER the issue began in hopes it would fix the problem. It didn't. Need help on this one. I appreciate any insight.

It appears you are getting the dreaded blank White Page. Did you recently upload a module? What was the last change you remember making before getting the Blank Page?

Your XOOPS is there and actually working where possible. If you add /admin.php to your url it gives you the "You Don't Have Access page" so it is working. I hope the FAQ can help you out.

That is not on the list of error messages that I should get. I am not sure where to go from here. I am on a shared host so I modified the .htaccess file rather than the php.ini. This error only occurs when I set "php_flag display_errors on". I also tried setting to off and still the same thing. When I remove the line I get the white page again. I added no new modules since I created the site a month or two ago. Everything has been working fine. Any suggestions? Thanks again for all your help!

Somehow, the theme I was using magically disappeared. I have not been on that server for days and I am the only one with access. No idea how this happens. Anyhow, thank you to all who read this post and reached back into their minds. And thanks to Quest for posting some recommendations. I truly appreciate all of you. Todd

you can't use php directives in .htaccess files on a server running php in cgi mode or phpsuexec..

u have to create a php.ini file and place it in each folder..
