Shoutbox 3.2 not shouting

Hi,

I just installed Shoutbox 3.2 but I can't post any shouts
there. The text and smiley don't show in the box when
the Shout button is pressed.

What went wrong? Permission somewhere?

ftp to ur XOOPS site.
go to uploads/shoutbox

see if u have a file called shout.csv inside
if you don't have, then create a blank file and upload it in.

if you have, then check the permission for it. chmod to writable.

Hi limecity,
but i can't find shoutbox file at /upload directory,I'm using XOOPS 2.0.14 version.my shoutbox is located at ./modules/shoutbox directory.plse advise & what mode to change ( 755 or 777 ).note :my hosting company turn off global off. is there impact on shoutbox don't show any text i type & didn't appear smilely..?
