Re: Error Message on trying to enter Admin Menu

here is a flash tutorial on how to chmod, using SmartFTP (a ftp program). Link.. (just change the permission on the file to 444 and click OK. that flash tutorial is quite long, the first few minutes of it is what you are looking for)

We also got a FAQ on what CHMOD means if you are wondering. FAQ: What Is Chmod?

hope that helps.

I have set the permissions to 444 and there is nothing, just blank. I'll have a look at the tuts (thanks for the link have looked everywhere for some) and come back if I'm none the wiser.

Thanks a lot for not laughing at me ;)

This will help you in the future:

New users should always checkout the following:
1. Documentation - linked on the left. Specifically the administration manual
2. The FAQ section - linked on the left - specifically the sections on gloassry, beginners first steps, modules, blocks and themes. There are links to visual tutorials here.
3. The search function on the top right.
Please check also the read B4U post link below if you have problems.

For Visual tutorials please go here

of course if you don't find what you need there please ask.
