I've installed XOOPS 2.0.14 using Fantastico. I installed XOOPS in another website about a year ago and under admin\modules had a list of modules to install. On this installation I only have the system module. Tried reinstalling it but no change.

How do I select the modules? I'm stuck with this!

Maybe you should take a look at your installation - then you may find out that there are no modules delivered with 2.0.14.

You can then take a look around here and see that there are various discussions going on whether to include modules with the core release or not.

download the modules and then install them.. XOOPS 2.0.14 does not come with any modules, this is mentioned in the news article.

there are reasons for it being changed like this, but i can't be bothered to list them here.. you could search the forum and news articles related to XOOPS 2.0.14 to find out ;) i don't have the time to go find them as i'm restricted to using public computers at mo which is costing me ££ by the 1/2hr

Go to FAQ Modules - it covers the download and install of modules as well as links to a module playground and ways of selecting modules - its also a valuable resource.

Thanks folks for the quick help here - thought it had to be something simple! Now installed no problem
