Adding avatars to news items??

So I have this in my template code under news_item


<{$lang_postedby}> <{$story.poster}> <{$lang_on}> <{$story.posttime}> (<{$story.hits}> <{$lang_reads}>)


Would I reference a user avatar with:

?

I stole that code from the comment template code.

When I do that, it doesn't seem to work. Any hints?

You could always approach Hervet (the module author) and see if he has it planned for a future version, or if you need it for a special task, perhaps he could add this as a feature for you, for a suitable fee?

Hervet,

Where is that? I've searched but I can't find it. There is the user account page, that shows the avatar and also all the stories that a user has posted. Is that what you mean?

WF-Sections has an 'author bio' block that displays author avatar along with the text from the 'extra info' field in the author's profile. Also shows articles by same author etc.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

Make a query that searches poster username in users table and returns you his avatar name. Then just make a
